
David Lombardi
David brings a wealth of experience and a practical, creative approach to Alternative Dispute Resolution. With more than 40 years of expertise in managing and litigating complex legal matters, he is known for his strategic and sometimes assertive methods that make a real difference in outcomes.
Throughout his extensive career, including 34 years as a partner at Givens Pursley, David has handled a wide range of cases, including property damage, personal injury, medical malpractice, construction, and compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act. His background also encompasses business, commercial, and contract disputes, challenges related to wilderness mining claims, as well as state professional licensing and hospital privileging. Further, David has tackled issues in employment law, state procurement, insurance coverage, disability, and environmental regulations.
David’s mediation style is thorough: he commits to understanding each case fully, challenges conventional thinking, asks probing questions, and provides needed analysis. This methodical approach ensures comprehensive and fair resolutions.
An active member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and the Idaho Mediation Association, David also maintains his standing with the Idaho State Bar. His professional contributions have been recognized by his inclusion in Best Lawyers since 2001 and Mountain States Super Lawyers since 2007. David was also ranked in Band 1 for General Commercial Litigation by Chambers & Partners until he transitioned from litigation to focus solely on mediation.
David completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and earned his law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Santa Clara School of Law.
